After Satvapatana potency of these drugs remains for longer period. Satva requires minimal dose & easy for administration. More potent as compared to other preparations. These Copper compounds have wide range of therapeutic application. In chemical composition these compounds are same hence the present study was aimed to identify the rich percentage of Copper (Cu) and other mineral in these Satva’s. The prepared Satva’s were subjected to qualitative
and quantitative analysis. Tuttha, Mayura piccha & Bhunaga satvas all contain Cu in various percentages. Tuttha satva have higher percentage of Cu 89% & Mn2O3 11%. Mayura piccha satva & Bhunaga satva have higher percentage of Fe 74.3% & 75.3% respectively containing Zn with Cu 2% both satva & Cu 17.8%, 18.8% respectively. Mayura piccha satva & Bhunaga satva resembles same in composition. After this analytical study we can coclude that Tuttha satva have higher percentage of Cu. Mayurpiccha and Bhunag satva have higher percentage of Fe. Mayurpiccha satva and Bhunaga satva containing Zn in little amount, while in Tuttha satva Zn was absent. Bhunaga satva and Tuttha satva have containing Mn2O3 while in Mayurpiccha satva Mn2O3 was absent. Mayurpiccha satva shows Si 5% while Si is absent in Tuttha and Mayurpiccha satva.
