ABSTRACT
Present study is to investigate anti-inflammatory activity on various extractS of Araucaria cunninghamii, in-vitro. As per phytochemical investigation the extract shows presence of flavanoids, tannins & saponins. Various extracts of Araucaria cunninghamii with a dose of 50 & 100 μg/ml, was taken for the activity & compared with the standard Diclofenac doses of 50 μg/ml, in HRBC membrane stabilization model and same dose of extract was taken for activity & compared with Diclofenac doses of 50 μg/ml, using Heat induce haemolytic method. The Chloroform extract of 100 μg/ml & Benzene extract of 100 μg/ml showed good result in both models.
Keywords: Anti-inflammatory, Membrane, Haemolytic.
