ABSTRACT
Folate is a general term for water-soluble vitamin B, it includes folic acid and its derivatives (diglutamates, triglutamates, polyglutamates), naturally found in foods such as leafy vegetables, leguminous plants, egg yolks, liver and some citrus fruits. Folic acid is an essential dietary requirement for most people at about 400 ug/day. Inadequate folate noted weakness, headache, fainting, pale skin, red sodding tongue, and diarrhea. Patients are irritable, hostile; they have a bad memory, paranoia. The use of folates is more effective when using a natural compound, rather than oxidized (folic acid). For prevention of the
diseases related to deficiency of FA, people may take the drug 5- methyltetrahydrofolate compound with calcium as a source of folate. In Uzbekistan, there are huge prospects for the study of B vitamins, many plants, vegetables serve as a source complex vitamin, and there are huge chance to investigate the plants’ compounds to prepare brand new collections and pharmaceutical products.
