ROLE & RELEVANCE OF HERBS IN CANCER PREVENTION AND TREATMENT

ABSTRACT

Ayurveda is a medical system that deals with body as well as mind. Cancer is considered by an over-proliferation of abnormal cells with high capacity for replication and invasion. It is the second major cause of death after CVS diseases. In Ayurveda it is related to Arbuda. It is a lifestyle disease, like unhealthy foods, poor cleanness, behavior or any trauma which causes imbalance of tridosha. Herbs are useful in both prevention & cure of cancer. They worked like miracles with their juice, extract, bark, leaves, flowers & sometimes entire plant.
