ABSTRACT
A new simple, accurate, precise and selective Reverse phase high
performance liquid chromatographic (RP-HPLC) method was
developed and for estimation of Zoledronic acid in pharmaceutical
dosage form. An isocratic, reverse phase HPLC method was developed
and validated using HypersilBds C18 (250x4.6mm,5μm)column, using
the mobile phase of 2ml of trimethyl amine in 1000ml of water for
injection and adjust the pH 3.2 with ortho-phosphoric acid and
detection is carried out at a wave length of 215nm. The retention time
for ZDA was found to be 3.413 mins thus the method is not time
consuming and can be used in laboratories for the routine analysis of
formulation. The method was validated in accordance with ICH
parameters.
