ABSTRACT
Back ground: Due to the rapped spread and uses of new technology
specially cellular phone and its electromagnetic radiation, that may
cause immune disorders in youths, especially among young females.
The present study designed to determine the immunological disorders
which may showed by the interferon β level in the serum that may
effected by electromagnetic radiation from the cell phone using by
young females. Ninety blood samples collected during the menstrual
cycle at days 1 to day 4, for measuring the cytokine interferon β. The
participants were divided according to the duration and time of using
of the cellular phone into three groups: Group A, were exposed from 1 to 4 hour daily, group
B, were exposed from 5 to15 hour daily, and the control group C, were not using the cellular
phone. Samples were collected during the period from June 2016 to May 2017. The study
showed a significant decrease in the level of serum interferon β in groups A and B in
comparisons to the control group C, and to those whom their age were (20-25year ), they
