ABSTRACT
Diabetes is a disease in which the blood glucose also known as blood
sugar, is too high. Glucose is a source which is obtained from the food
that we eat. Insulin is a hormone that helps the glucose get into the
cells to give them energy. Type 1 diabetes is defined as a condition
when our body does not make insulin. While type 2 diabetes, the more
common type, when the body does not make or use insulin well.
Without enough insulin, the glucose stays in the blood.
