ABSTRACT
Seonath is a (latitude 20016' N to 22041' N and Longitude 80025' E to 82035' E.) one of the ancient river in the Durg district of Chhattisgarh in India. This river water is use for drinking, agriculture and human activities. Generally, in this river water observing the high amount of algae due to high nutrient content. Equally river water had a less amount of Dissolved Oxygen (DO). The DO concentration is characterized of river water healthiness. Main Objective of this study was determined the DO concentration in selected Non-point source. DO variation was studied during four weeks in month of March, 2018. Totally 20 samples were analyzed. According to investigated data DO vary (8.31±0.76 – 10.02±0.46 mg/l). Minimum DO value (7.62 mg/l) obtained during fourth week in experiment. So that we understand the water quality of the river was unhealthy for the aquatic life.
