A REVIEW ON PHARMACOLOGY OF HYPERTENSION AND ANTI HYPERTENSION DRUGS

ABSTRACT
Now a day’s many people are suffering with hypertension and many
researchers re going to treat hypertension. It is due to many factors like
peoples living condition there food habits etc... Sometimes it leads to
cardiac disorders in hyper conditions. So regular checkup should be
done to the people in order to reduce this problem. The systolic and
diastolic pressure should be normal if there is sudden increase or
decrease in this value may leads to increase in hypertension or
decrease in hypertension. Anti-hypertensive drugs are used in the
treatment of hypertension. Hypertension is a common condition
associated with increased mortality and multiple morbidities. Evidence
based management of hypertension is known to improve both the short term and long term
outcomes in patients with this condition. There are general several measures and
pharmacological agents that are known to treat hypertension adequately. Diuretics in
particularly low dose thiazides and thiazide like diuretics are widely used in the treatment of
hypertension. The review article mainly focusses on the pharmacological action and side
effects and outcome data of the use of anti-hypertensive drugs.
