HYPERTENSION: A REVIEW

ABSTRACT

Hypertension is an important disease worldwide as it have high frequency for and concomitant risk of cardiovascular & kidney disease. Most of the population, completely or partially diagnosed with hypertension. This disease leads to mortality if not diagnosed early. Depending upon the progression of disease, it classified into different type. So many factors are responsible for the development of this disease. As pharmacological science evolved many new medicines are available for the treatment of hypertension. Apart from these medications, lifestyle and healthy food is also helpful for control of hypertension. In this article, we reviewed about the progression of hypertension, test to diagnosis and different treatments available.
