AYURVEDA PERSPECTIVE TOWARDS MANAGEMENT AND CAUSES OF COMMUNICABLE DISEASE: A REVIEW

ABSTRACT
Ayurveda the science of life emphasized communicable disease in an important manner and believe that such disease mainly through infectious contact when bala is reduced. Charaka also consider other factors like air & water etc. responsible for communicable disease other than personal contact. Ayurveda believe that physical constitution, food habits, strength, immunity and age of individual play important role towards the prevalence of disease. The infectious microorganism such as virus, bacteria, fungi and parasites are considered responsible for such communicable disease. Ayurveda described various approaches along with precautionary measurement for the management of communicable disease.
