ABSTRACT
The present study was aimed to Formulation and Evaluation of Pulsatile Drug Delivery System Containing Beads of Atorvastatin for avoid the first pass metabolism, the release of drug before requirement and to maintain the Cmax and bioavailability of drug. The batches of Atorvastatin were prepared by using different concentration of CAP. Six batches were prepared and all physicochemical parameters bulk density, tapped density, Carr’s index, hausner’s ratio, particle size angle of repose and in-vitro release of drug was conducted. The percentage CR for F1,F2,F3,F4,F5and F6 was found to be 69.2%, 72.8%, 71.3%, 64.2%,63.2%, 75.6% and it was concluded that F6 formulation as best formulation.
