PHARMACOKINETICS OF VIRECHAN KARMA IN PAKSHAVADA AN AYURVEDIC VIEW

ABSTRACT

Ayurvedic Management of Pakshavada (Hemiplegia) include both Shodhana and Shaman therapies. The classical methods of Panhakarma, Virechana, Vasti, Nasya along with poorvakarma Snehana and Svedana have definite role in the treatment of pakshavada. The kerala specialities like shirodhara, Shirovasti, pizhichil, shashtika shali pinda sveda etc. are also have very good result in the management of Pakshavada.
