CASE STUDY: MANAGEMENT OF MULTIPLE RENAL CALCULI (ASHAMARI) WITH HYDRONEPHROSIS BY AYURVEDIC PREPARATION ASHMARIHAR KWATHA.

ABSTRACT

In the present study an effort was made to evaluate the efficacy of Ashamrihara Kwatha,. The main aim of this particular study was inclined towards the disintegration, dissolution, dislodgement and expulsion of renal stones. A case of multiple Renal Calculi (Ashamari) was treated with Ashamrihara Kwatha, 20 ml twice in day till expulsion of multiple renal calculies. The patient was assessed on the basis of subjective parameters i.e. pain in flank region, haematuria, dysuria etc. and objective parameters (USG of KUB region). After completion of the study with Ashamrihara Kwatha the results were encouraging. The efficacy of in relief of Pain, Haematuria, Dysuria Size of calculi and Number of calculi was highly significant. This case highlights the fact that it is possible to treat a case of multiple renalcalculi with Hydronephrosis by Ashamrihara Kwatha.
