The hormone estimation and histological evaluation of the uterus also supports the study result. The phytochemical screening shows presence of flavonoids, steroids etc, The litrature review shows that flavonoids and phytosteroids can influence hormone level in body and fertility in animals and humans. The present work was a preliminary effort to prove the claimed antifertility activity of the plant using various animal models.
