HIGHLY EFFICIENT SYNTHESIS OF PYRANOQUINOLINE DERIVATIVES CATALYZED BY PIPERIDINE

ABSTRACT
A mild and efficient method for the synthesis of (JCMQ-1-24 and JCEQ-1-22) via a two-component reaction of 4-Hydroxy-1-methyl-2(1H)-quinolinone (JC-1) and Intermediate arylidenes (JCM-1-24 and JCE-1-22) catalyzed by piperidine is described. This new procedure has the advantages of mild reaction condition, high yields, and metal-free catalyst. The reaction commences very fast.
