ABSTRACT
This study was showed to examine effect of mushroom
supplementation as a prebiotic compound in fed diets of enhancement
of growth performance in Nile tilapia, (Oreochromis niloticus) at the
aquaculture unit in laboratory. A total of 50 fishes (25 per water tank)
with initial average body weighted of 50.64±0.0329 gram were fed two
diets supplemented with 25% mushroom stalk experimental diet
(MSED) and commercial control diet (CCD) for seven weeks in cage
system. During the experiment, the physico-chemical parameters of
used water were situated in normal range of optimal growth. The
results showed the best final weight gain (WG) was observed in the fish fed supplemented
with 25% mushroom stalk experimental diet were suggestively increased compared with fish
fed commercial control diet.
