ABSTRACT
Sphagneticola (Wedelia) is a flowering plant genus in the sunflower family. Sphagneticola calendulaceae and Sphagneticola trilobata are closely related species in Sphagneticola genus. Sphagneticola calendulaceae and Sphagneticola trilobata both found to have some chemical constituents and some pharmacological activities in common. This work gives an overview of phytochemical and pharmacological evidence of Sphagneticola calendulaceae and Sphagneticola trilobata.
