ABSTRACT
The implementation and validation of the developed method for the analysis of pesticide residues in bottle guard. Samples were prepared according to the QuEChERS (quick, easy, cheap, effective, rugged and safe) method. LOD and LOQ values are in the range from lower 0.001 mg/kg for alpha endosulphan and 0.003 mg/kg for Endosulphan sulphate to higher 0.04 mg/kg and 0.12 mg/kg for Dicofol, respectively, rest all values lies between the range. The mean recovered amount at 0.05 mg/kg spike concentration of 28 pesticides mixture in bottle guard matrix are in the range of 0.041 mg/kg to 0.046
mg/kg and it is observed that highest recovery percent results for beta cyfluthrin (92.66%) and lowest recovery percent for P, P DDT, PP DDD (83.33%), rest pesticides recovery percent in between the range, whereas relative standard deviation are in the range of values lies below 2.17 to 10.73%. Calibration curve were plotted between an area of 28 pesticide standard mixture against six different concentration levels of 0.005, 0.010, 0.05, 0.10, 0.50, 1.00 mg/kg with regression co-efficient (R2) are in the range of 0.986-1.0. Deltamethrin with lowest (R2) 0.986 and Dialdrin, O, P DDD, Beta-Endosulphan with highest (R2) =1, rest all pesticides coefficient of regression lies between these value.
