Abstract

WATER QUALITY ASSESSMENT WITH REFERENCE TO PHYSICO-CHEMICAL PARAMETERS OF LOWER DUDHANA DAM (M.S.) INDIA.

ABSTRACT

Water quality assessment of Lower Dudhana dam (M.S.) India was studied during January-December-2013. The study focused on hydrological properties and water quality of Lower Dudhana dam. The physico-chemical parameters compared with the help of ANOVA and Correlation coefficient. Seasonal variations were observed at eight different sampling stations of dam. The result revealed that the parameters were within the permissible limit, hence dam is unpolluted, Water can be used for drinking, domestic, irrigation and fish culture.
