Abstract

AFAST AND HIGHLY EFFICIENT PROTOCOL FOR MULTI COMPONENT SYNTHESIS FROM MICHAEL ADDUCTS IN TASK SPECIFIC IONIC LIQUIDS

ABSTRACT

A new class of amino pyrazolones, amino isoxazolones, amino pyrimidinones and thiopyrimidinones were synthesized from Michael adduct using [HMIm]BF4 as task-specific ionic liquid has been described. The ionic liquids play dual roles of solvent as well as catalyst for the efficient transformations in excellent yields without any undesired side product formation.

Keywords: amino pyrazolones, amino isoxazolones, amino pyrimidinones and thiopyrimidinones from michael adduct using task specific ionic liquids as catalyst and green solvent.
