STUDY OF BIODIVERSITY OF BIRDS IN SETGANGA, DISTRICTMUNGELI, CHHATTISGARH

ABSTRACT

Field survey was carried out in early morning and evening hours to estimate the existing biodiversity of birds in Mungeli area. Mungeli city harbors wide variety of bird variations in food availability in different seasons affected the bird diversity in the study area. This habitat attracted 14 bird species. Many of the birds are in pairs, so that their breeding properly in this area. The survey result indicate large number of species-Eupatria (Family- Cacatuidae) -Corvus (Crow) which can adapt themselves in the environment of Setganga area.
