BIO-SYNTHESIS OF NANOPARTICLES BY USING HERBAL EXTRACT

ABSTRACT
Bio-synthesis of some Nanoparticles from Jimikand extract, by using Silver, Platinum and Copper metal ions. The synthesized nanoparticles were characterized by FTIR, UV-Visible spectroscopy, SEM, TEM, EDX and X-ray analysis. The size of nanoparticle in the range between 15-75nm. The AgNPs size is 15-25, PtNPs size is 18-30 and CuNPs size is 22-45 nm. UV-Visible spectra of prepared CuNPs is 410 nm and PtNPs spectra is 450nm. The XRD pattern of synthesized AgNPs is shown in Figure. The XRD pattern of AgNP were recorded, they are 38.3, 44.4, 64.5, 77.5 and 81.7 corresponding to the lattice planes [(111), (200), (220), (311), (222)] and the average particle size of silver was determined to be 15.91 nm. Diffraction of these nanoparticle was recorded. the Microbial activity of AgNP were screen against some pathogenic bacterial and it shows good activity with these bacterial strains.
