ESTIMATION OF KETOROLAC TROMETHAMINE IN PHARMACEUTICAL FORMULATION BY SPECTROPHOTOMETRIC METHOD.

ABSTRACT

The simple, accurate and precise spectrophotometric method Area Under Curve(AUC) Was established for the estimation of the Ketorolac Tromehamine in Pharmaceutical dosage form. The area under two points of the spectra is directly proportional to the concentration of the component. The area selected for the estimation of the Ketorolac Tromethamine is between 313.20-333.60nm. The method characterize the regression coefficient (R2=0.9992) at concentration range 5-25μg/ml. Estimation of the drug was found up to 100% representing the accuracy of the method. The validation of projected methods was carried out as per the USP guidelines. The developed method can be successfully useful in routine work for the estimation of the Ketorolac Tromethamine in its Pharmaceutical dosage forms.
