ORAL CONTRACEPTIVES: AN OVERVIEW

ABSTRACT
Oral contraception (oc) are widely used to avoid unwanted pregnancies. Oral contraceptives are classically given in a cyclic way with 21 days of energetic tablets accompanied with the aid of 7 days of placebo. Within the past four years, new oral contraceptives had been brought which either shorten the placebo time, extend the lively pills (extended cycle), or provide lively pills every day. Oral contraceptives have also been used to treat menstrual disorders, including menorrhagia and dysmenorrhea, and gynaecologic issues, inclusive of endometriosis. This article will evaluate the pharmacology of oral
contraceptives and various studies evaluating the protection, efficacy, and patient pleasure of non-stop Oral contraceptive. This review focusses on the systematic evaluation and analysis of vast estrogens and progesterone’s. Since there is a lot of development of prolonged combined oral contraceptives, there is a high need to recognize the body structure, dosing, facet consequences, and blessings of this form of oral contraceptive. This article opinion about the advantages and disadvantages of the blended oral contraceptive.
