ABSTRACT
The bioactive compounds of medicinal plants are products of the plant itself or derived from endophytes living inside the plant that release secondary metabolic compounds responsible for the medicinal value of plants. A total of 10 endophytic fungal isolates, belongs to 8 genera. Maximum isolates were obtained in case of root of A.mexicana followed by stem and leaf. In this study, the most dominant endophytes were found to be A.niger and A.alterneta. The endophytic fungi from leaves stem and roots of the plant were identified based on the morphology and characteristics of fungal spores.
