A STUDY OF GROUND WATER QUALITY AND ITS IMPACT FLUORIDE WITH THE PREVALANCE OF DENTAL FLUOROSIS AT VEDASANDUR, DINDIGUL DISTRICT

ABSTRACT

The present study is attempted to evaluatethe extent of pollution of ground water, well water and surface water in and around vedasandur Taluk in Dindigul District. with special reference to the level of Fluoride concentration in water reservoirs and its impact on the health of the people in causing Dental Fluorosis. During the survey in the study area, the investigator observed that many people in the study area are suffering from Dental problems with the investigator identified the prevalence of Dental Fluorosis. In order find out the causes for the prevalence of Dental Fluorosis the investigator collected the water sample in the study area for qality analysis. The physico and chemical parameters of water samples were analyzed and presented.
