ABSTRACT
In this study, we have synthesized New Mannich base ligand. A complex of the compound also prepared with Mn(II) and Fe(II) in methanol. Structures of the newly synthesized compounds were confirmed by elemental analysis [UV-VIS, IR, 1H NMR and 13C NMR]. These compounds are characterized by physical and chemical methods. All the newly synthesized compounds were screened for their antimicrobial activity against gram positive, gram negative both of the compounds showed a marked activity against the selected microorganisms. Metal complex has been found to possess more activity than the free ligand.
