ABSTRACT

The objective of the present study was to isolate and characterize bioactive phytoconstituent from the ethanolic extract of leaves of Cassia auriculata with the help of column and thin layer chromatography using a gradient of organic solvents with increasing polarity.The compound was characterized on the basis of IR, 1HNMR and Mass spectrometry.
