ABSTRACT
The search for new microorganisms producing lipase for industrial purpose is being continuously achieved. The isolation of lipase by sources such as plants and animals are cost effective and the yield is also very less. Microbial lipases have gained special industrial attention due to their stability, selectivity and broad substrate specificity. High enzyme activity lipase can replace traditional catalyst in processing biodiesel, as this enzyme replaces chemicals in a process
which is otherwise highly energy intensive and can be more environmentally friendly and safe. So studies have been started to analyze the production of the enzyme from microbial sources that can be easily isolated from soil, water etc. The bacillus sp. of bacteria are preferred for lipase production since their enzyme is secreted extracellular .In this research paper we, present isolation and characterization of lipolysis bacteria were done from various soils samples. Determine maximum lipase producer by qualitative and quantitative means.
Keywords: lipase, lipolytic, substrare, Bacillus subtills.
