ABSTRACT
End-Stage Renal Disease is a Life-threatening condition where Kidneys cannot perform a life-maintaining functions like monitoring and regulating body fluids. When the kidneys are unable to perform the essential function of removing waste products from the blood and regulating the water fluid levels. Due to sudden rise in potassium levels in your blood and severe anemia which could impair your heart's ability to function and may be life-threatening. The incidence of Chronic kidney injury (CKI) is estimated at 2,147 cases per million population per year. The mortality rate was 14.4%, while 29.7% of the patients including short-term skilled nursing facilities. Pharmacological and biological approaches aimed at not only repairing
necrotic tubular epithelia, vascular endothelial cells, interstitial cells, and blood- and bone marrow-borne cells all participate in a complex and orchestrated but also arresting progression to a chronic stage. Treating the cause and treating complications like High blood pressure medications, Medications to lower cholesterol levels, Medications to relieve swelling and a lower protein diet to minimize waste products in your blood and dialysis or a kidney transplant is the only option and the elderly and diabetics, should be assessed based on low- or high-risk groups accordingly in part on existing risk calculators.
