A CLINICAL STUDY OF “KHANDAMALAKA” AND “SHATAVARI SIDDHA KSHIRA” ON AMLAPITTA

ABSTRACT
A clinical trial was carried on the patients of Amlapittato evaluate the
“Khandamalaka” and “ShatavariSiddhaKshira” on Amlapitta, who
were registered from OPD and IPD of Rashtriya Ayurveda Sansthan
Jaipur (Rajasthan) and Govt. Ayurvedic College Hospital, Raipur
(C.G.). They were randomly divided in to two groups in Group A –
treated with “Khandamlaaka” and Group B treated with
“Khandamalaka” and “ShatavariSiddha Kshira” for 30 days in a dose
of 10 gm. of Khandamalaka twice a day with luke warm water and
Shatavari Siddha Kshira20 ml. twice a day. Detailed history and date
collected on basis of structured Proforma. Finally result was assessed
and found that both the groups were clinically effective Ayurvedic
drugs in the management of Amlapitta.
