ABSTRACT
Throat swabs were collected to isolate S. aureus by using blood agar media. Biochemical tests were performed. Genomic DNA was isolated and PCR was done for erm A, ermB and erm C genes followed by bioinformatic analysis. Isolates were screened on erythromycin disc (erythromycin range 1- 125mg/l). Out of 10 isolates, 3 showed resistance to erm A, 3 showed resistant to erm B and 4 showed resistance to erm C.
Keywords: Throat swabs, ermA, ermB, ermC.
