ABSTRACT
Fresh water Mrigal fingerlings Mrigal fingerlings Mrigal fingerlings Mrigal fingerlings Mrigal fingerlings Mrigal fingerlings Mrigal fingerlings Mrigal fingerlings (cirrhinus mrigala) were treated with whole cell (WC) and Outer Membrane Protein (OMP) vaccines developed from the virulent Pseudomonas fluorescens with and without immuno adjuvant of Asparagus racemosus tuber powder extract. On various days of post vaccination, (30 & 60dpv) the vaccinated Mrigal Mrigal Mrigal Mrigal fingerlings were challenged with virulent Pseudomonas fluorescens and monitored for cumulative mortality, Relative percent survival and other pathological signs and symptoms. The Mrigal Mrigal Mrigal Mrigal Mrigal fingerlings attained 100% mortality within 10 days in non-vaccinated groups, whereas the vaccines helped to increase the survival
rate after 30 and 60 days post vaccination (dpv). The WC and OMP vaccines with immuno adjuvant increased the RPS rate compared to WC and OMP vaccines without adjuvant. Based on the results after 60 dpv, OMP vaccine with immuno adjuvant helped to improve the rate of RPS by 84 % and cumulative mortality rate was low (16%) compared to other vaccinated and control groups. The RPS rate was low (64%) and cumulative mortality was high (36%) in WC vaccines without adjuvant. The present work concentrates on efficacy of using WC and OMP vaccines with and without immuno adjuvant against Pseudomonas fluorescens infection in Cirrhinus mrigala fingerlings.
