ABSTRACT
This work is to study the antibacterial and phytochemical analysis of the plant Origanum majorana L. The phytochemical study has identified large family of chemical compounds that may contain Origanum majorana L. The antimicrobial activity of this oil was investigated vis-a-vis of six microorganisms. The results obtained show that the essential oil has a high antibacterial activity.
