OPTIMIZATION OF NUTRIENTS FOR L-ASPARAGINASE PRODUCTION USING ASPERGILLUSTERREUS

ABSTRACT
The objective of this work was to produce L-asparaginase from
Aspergillus terreus. L-asparaginase was produced through submerged
fermentation by using modified czapekdox medium. In this study the
activity of asparaginase determined by different carbon and nitrogen
sources.The modified Czepak-Dox media with 0.5% Sucrose, 1%
asparagine, Zn+2 metal ion, triton-X surfactantsshowedmaximumLasparaginase
activity of 34.25 IU/mL on the third day.
