Abstract

ANALYZING THE RELATION BETWEEN EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE AND JOB SATISFACTION AND TENDENCY TO DESERTION OF SHIRAZ MEDICAL SCIENCES UNIVERSITY PERSONNEL -2016

ABSTRACT

Introduction: Emotional intelligence could be a factor for expressing the individual internal feeling towards his job and workplace. Then, noticing and examining personnel emotional intelligence is very significant in their job satisfaction and their tendency to work they do. So, this study was conducted for analyzing the relation between emotional intelligence and job satisfaction and tendency to desertion in Shiraz Medical Sciences University personnel. Study method: For analyzing the relations between variables and testing the study main hypotheses, structural equations modeling method has been used. Also, for examining the study secondary hypotheses, correlation coefficient was utilized. In this study, Shiraz medical sciences university has been considered as study place. In this study, all managers, vice-chancellors and experts of Shiraz medical sciences universities have been considered as statistical sample. Findings: Findings of this study showed that significance level between emotional intelligence and job satisfaction is equal to 4.37. Also, findings specified that significance level between emotional intelligence and tendency to desertion is 6.53. Conclusion: The results of study specified that both main hypotheses of the study and also all six secondary hypotheses have been confirmed. As a result, we could state that there is a significant relation between emotional intelligence and job satisfaction. Also, we could say that there is a significant relation between emotional intelligence and tendency to desertion.
