ABSTRACT
Endoprosthesis surgery of joints in traumatic injuries is emerging as one of the main directions of development of modern orthopedic surgery. It is one of the most successful operations in orthopedic surgery. The aim of the presented clinical case is to determine the effect of kinesitherapeutic methodology applied to patients with total endoprosthesis of right hip in a moderately protective phase. The means of kinesitherapy include massage therapy, suspension therapy, active exercises in closed and open kinematic chain, breathing exercises, training in climbing stairs and advice to the patient’s for
movements that can lead to joint luxation. As a result of the applied kinesitherapeutic methodology, we recorded recovery in the volume of motion on the operated joint and improvement in muscle strength of the thigh muscles. We found improvement in the gait parameters and increase in the patient’s autonomy.
Keywords: total endoprosthesis surgery, hip joint, kinesitherapy.
