ABSTRACT
Freshwater fish Catla catla were exposed to sub lethal concentrations of Herbicide Glyphosate Hijack® (41%) 0.42 ppm for 24, 48, 72 and 96 hours. It was observed that with the increase of exposure time blood glucose, total cholesterol, triglyceride, total protein, albumin and globulin values were decreased. These reports indicate that haematological parameters may be useful as a diagnostic test for Herbicide Glyphosate Hijack® exposure in aquatic organisms.
