ABSTRACT

Transcription factors STAT-1 STAT-6 have been implicated in the differentiation of Th2 lymphocytes and therefore represent therapeutic targets for asthma. The increased expression of these proteins seen in asthma is the result of enhanced gene transcription .The present article Highlights History, Definition, Structure, Function, Role of STAT Protein in disease and targeting STAT Protein in Asthma.
