ABSTRACT

Orofacial pain is the common term used to describe the pain that occur in orofacial region that may have various causes. The structures that present in the orofacial region are more in number and each structure can cause pain. Dentist in day to day practice treating patients with orofacial pain should also know to diagnose orofacial pain origin and treat them accordingly. Hence this paper highlights how the pain occurs in orofacial region and how to manage them.
