ABSTRACT
Tilmicosin was administered subcutaneously at a dose rate of 10 mg/kg. b.wt to determine its concentrations in blood as well as its kinetic behavior in healthy and vaccinated lactating goats. Tilmicosin was detectable in plasma for 72 hours. The mean peak plasma concentrations (Cmax) in healthy and vaccinated lactating goats were 1.07 ± 0.052 μg/ml, and 1.19 ± 0.043 μg/ml achieved at a maximum times (Tmax) of 1.91 ± 0.19 hour and 1.46 ± 0.24 hours, respectively. Tilmicosin significantly increase the antibody titer in vaccinated lactating goats when administrated at 21 days post vaccination with dose of 10 mg/kg. b.wt.
