ABSTRACT
The literature survey shows that several derivatives of pyrazoles and isoxazoles have various applications in pharmaceutical as well as agriculture field as they useful as pesticides, fungicides and they also show growth promoting activity. In this study our aim is to identify the growth promoting effect of the synthesized heterocyclic compounds on seed germination of some kahrif crop plant seeds like gospium (cotton), phaseolus vulgaris (rajma), lensesculeanta (masur) and sesamum indicum (till). The heterocyclic compounds pyrazoles and isoxazoles have been synthesized by conventional laboratory methods and their structure have confirmed by chemical test and spectral
analysis. The study on seed germination shows that the heterocyclic compounds enhance the growth of the seed as compared to control seeds.
Keywords: Heterocyclic compounds, pyrazoles, isoxazoles, seed germination activity.
