ABSTRACT
Nanoponges has attracted increasing attention during recent years and it can resolve the problems associated with solubility. Nanosponges delivery system, which was originally developed for topical delivery of drug. Nanosponges are tiny sponges with a size of about a viruses, which can be filled with wide variety of drugs. These Nanosponges can be effectively incorporated into topical systems for prolonged release and skin irritation thus reducing the variability in drug absorbtion, toxicity and improving patient compliance by prolonging dosing
intervals. Nanosonges can significantly reduce the irritation of drugs without reducing their efficacy. This nanosized delivery system has definite advantages for the purpose of drug delivery because of its high stability, high carrier capacity and feasibility of incorporation of both hydrophilic and hydrophobic substances.
