TWO NEW SPECIES OF GENUS AMANITA FROM INDIA

ABSTRACT
Two species of genus Amanita was collected from the forests of Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand in North Western India are described as new species for India i.e. Amanita albida sp. nov. and A. shorea sp. nov. These new species belongs to subgenus Amanita section Amanita due to possessing inamyloid spores, a cylindrical stipe with annulus, slightly bulbous base, lacking a saccate, membranous volva.
