ABSTRACT
Fish is diverse group of animals, comprising almost half the number of vertebrate species in existence today. Their life is always prone to bacterial and virus attack leading to death. In the present study, characterization of fish mucus has been undertaken through Poly Acryl Amide Gel Electrophoresis (PAGE) to know protein band on their molecular basis to confirm its antibacterial activity in fish mucus.
Keywords: PAGE, mucus, Protein, Pathogenic Bacteria.
