ABSTRACT
The present study is to develop a targeted delivery to the fungal affected
cells. Niosomes of Ketaconazole and Griseofulvin were formulated by
thin film hydration technique using the non-ionic surfactant and
cholesterol with constant drug concentration. Ketaoconazole and
Griseofulvin niosomal gel were tested for invitro anti fungal activity
using the strain Aspergillus niger and Candida albicans. All the
niosomal formulations showed gradual increase in zone of inhibition.
Result of the present investigation indicates the best formulation of
ketaconazole niosomal gel posses great anti fungal activity, against the
candida albicans.
Keywords: Aspergillus niger, candida albicans, niosomal gel.
