SCREENING METHODS AND HERBAL DRUGS FOR THE TREATMENT OF DIARRHEA- A REVIEW

ABSTRACT

Diarrhoea is the passage of loose or watery stools, increased liquidity of stool, usually associated with increased stool weight and frequency. In past years herbal medicine has gained an exponential growth in the field of medicine in all over world. In comparison to other countries India is the largest producer of medicines. The current review focuses on anti diarrheal methods and plants recently evaluated in the treatment of diarrhea disease in the world. This paper will focus on different beneficial aspects of herbal medicine as anti diarrheal.
