ABSTRACT
Butea Monosperma flower Ethanol extract was prepared and it’s in vitro phytochemical composition, and antioxidant assessments was carried out using different parameters. Saponin, flavanoid, terepenoids and tannin are found as major phytoconstituents in flower ethanolic extract in all the tests. Study also reflected potent antioxidant activity in all the in vitro assays. It showed a concentration dependent increase in antioxidant potential. Outcome of the present study suggested assessing the B. monosperma at its in vivo level to develop it a good phytotherapeutic system.
