Abstract

EVALUATION OF QULITATIVE AND QUANTITATIVE ANTIOXIDANT ACTIVITY OF DIFFERENT SOLVENT EXTRACTS ISOLATED FROM THE LEAVES OF TRIDAX PROCUMBENS

ABSTRACT

Four different solvent extracts have been isolated from the leaves of tridax procumbens. The qualitative and quantitative evaluation of antioxidant activity was elucidated. All fractions showed moderate to good antioxidant activity assay for DPPH. IC50 values of four fractions have also been reported in the study.
